Technology
West’s commitment to providing superior solutions for
our prestigious clients also means that we employ some of the most advanced
technology available, including a processing environment with thousands
of servers that enable the development of proprietary, custom in-the-house
applications. Our teams support a number of commercial off-the-shelf applications
and work with many different program languages.
Additionally, our teams have access to a robust distributed processing
environment with thousands of servers—including Microsoft, Linux and Unix.
They also have access to a global network with thousands of switches and
routers using various protocols to support business segments in more than
50 locations and 14 countries. Additionally, our state-of-the-art Network
Operations Command Center allows our EIT team to monitor systems and security
across the entire enterprise.
Telephony
As a leader in outsourced voice solutions, West operates on a
proprietary multi-use telephony processing platform. With more than 450,000
ports of capacity, we manage more than seven billion telephony minutes
every year.
